Welcome to Student Metro 2023. Over the years, this week has proven to be a pivotal time for student pastors and our wives. It is a week of building community, making memories, and growing in our lives, both ministerially and personally. The principles of leadership and the nuggets of pastoral ministry have both encouraged and impacted those in the room and the ministries they represent.

This year, we want to shift our focus from being laborers to being shepherds, modeling what it looks like to love Jesus with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let us take time to rest well and model rest to others, most importantly our families. Our hope is that you take time this week to rest physically, mentally, and spiritually.
